The folks from Renacer church met with us and requested an affordable installation for their new facility. The new facility was a rented sanctuary with 2 other congregations and required a portable setup that didn’t interfere with the other congregations. The church also anticipated regular outdoor engagements and requested a system that could be portable when needed.
Quite a few spatial characteristics and challenges factored into this installation. The sanctuary features long parallel walls, as well as untreated floors and ceilings. The host church didn’t allow any further treatment to the space. While the QSC arrays are not the best choice for this scenario, they did meet all the necessary requirements and budget of the church. Portability, powered, stand mounted, etc. To prevent regular movement of heavy equipment, in ear monitors were provided instead of wedges allowing compact storage and also increased stage room.
(This church has since relocated to another facility in Mission Hills, early 2017.)
